Featured Stephen King "The Shining" 1st 1st

    I was going to give this away. Hadn't realized it was a first.

    I think I'll give it away anyhow. The person I'm giving it to is a big Stephen King fan, and has certainly done me its value in good.

    My absolute favourite book, you would think it would of had a cooler cover !!

    Read it Many times, as always so much better than the film

    You can really feel jacks brooding alcohol Abstinence, untill like the boiler it blows

    Lucky recipient, 1st true us printings, worth a good bit

    Have been selling alot of my stephen king collection recently,

    Just sold my different seasons 1st, 1st

    The one with shawshank, and the body (stand by me film)

    Hmmm. I wonder if any of my copies from when I was a kid are 1sts. They were all hand me downs. I’ll have to check!!

    I had a book club first of Carrie. I think even those are worth something now. My favorite Stephen King is "IT". I've read that several times. The first I read was "Salem's Lot", and that put me off him for a long time.

    The last one I read was "The Dome". Made me think of Dorothy Parker: "This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force."

    What's this one mos, is it Viking ?

    The few US pressings I've got are Viking publishers

    I've got a BCA Carrie and Christine as well

    And a UK 1st IT

    Misery is another of my favourites, great film as well, they don't always work in film

    Yeah looking into it, that's right for the 1st edition, keep it, cough cough !

    I think the coolest 1st edition dustjacket is the catcher in the rye one, I've got a bca 1st of it, this is a 1st edition cover
