    Anyone seen anything like this?
Though it may be silver but is NOT slightly magnetic like 925 or better silver.
Registers nickel on the metal detector so that makes sense.

Snap reads wk bee hk408, google comes up with a leather wristband and handbags.

The bluing of the snap corrosion would lead me to believe nickel or nickel/silver.

    Looks handmade ish
    Worth anything?
    Approximate Age?

    Again thanks in advance.

The alloy called "nickel silver" contains no silver, Rick.

This I do know, nickel silver like German silver contains no silver.

If I were to list it for sale would it be terribly wrong to call it
A Mesh Cuff Bracelet, in the style of Sergio Gutierrez.
Maybe let the buyers figure out what worth.

I'm afraid I'm not a jewelry person, so I don't know whether those are appropriate keywords or not.

I think it's called silver colored nickel - not nickel silver, German silver or alpaca...

Multi-strand ball chain jewelry is collectible - those are good keywords to start with. Call it 20-strand ____

Who knows, maybe yours is vintage and SGs jewelry is based on bona-fide older pieces.
    ?

Nickel is magnetic,so most likely it is nickel silver/German silver which is a white brass.

    (Sergio Gutierrez's work)

It's definitely possible yours is older @Rick Erfert

It depends on where you’re listing it. On ebay using “in the style of Sergio Gutierrez” would be a reportable violation of Keyword Spam. I don’t know about other venues.

    Merry Christmas to all....

I think I have enough information to get it listed and move it on to the next owner.

Still debating about a quick jewelry dip to clean it up or leave the patina.
I think it shows more character if I let it be.

Maybe take a q-tip of vinegar to the snap to get the greenies out. Polishes and dips can do more harm than good. I'd call it a mult-strand ball chain bracelet. It's been around a while, but the design is unfamiliar.
