This thing is big at 4 1/2 inches at its longest point and 2 1/2 inches high. The surface is pocked like a slightly deflated lemon. Actually, it is almost whimsical. Not a glass fruit, but rather it has a surface to sit flat on, so a paperweight. In searching for information about it, I found similar ones from Lennox with the same green applied stem and leaves.

The Lennox one on Worthpoint has a different bottom though - polished flat with a sticker. Mine has a pocked but flattened surface to sit on.

Anyone have a thought or idea?

Thanks. This is certainly a path for research. I report back if it goes somewhere. It is in my opinion art as it isn’t just a lemon but one with an interesting surface and internal webbing.

A fair few of these are being made - well - in China.

That's a fair assessment. I'm seeing a lot of art glass from China that mirrors other countries style and products. If the label happens to fall off, who is to know. Thank you for looking. I like it wherever it comes from. I'm just trying to learn how to distinguish.

These aren't lemons, but do show what's being sold.

This is really cool and looks good enough quality to be made by a ‘someone’.
It just looks way better than average quality but I’m clueless about glass so can’t help otherwise.

I hadn't seen these, but they are very nice. Great shapes and interesting variability in colors. Nicely polished too. I generally ignore these kinds of things, i.e. table decorations, as I have one small dining table that often has a laptop on it, papers, a large piece of art glass, etc. on it. Thanks for tracking these down and posting them.

Stay away from art glass - it is addictive! I agree that's why I bought it and posted it. Thanks for your confirmation that it's a better piece.

That last one looks the same as yours Kiko. If it's interesting, small, cheap, and signed I'll usually buy just for resale.

I have a passion for paperweights, so I let very few get away. I have had to start selling off some things because my space is limited. I look at them for a while, and then give them to someone else to enjoy. I paid under $3 for it.

I try to stick to art glass under the jewellery umbrella otherwise it’s a slippery slope. That said, like Mikey, if it’s signed and cheap I’ll buy it on spec.
I’d have definitely bought that for $3! Bargain! The bubble effect within it is very striking. Hold onto it and eventually a maker will surface!

You've become a jewelry maven in a relatively short time. I am so impressed. I've seen some of your art glass jewelry and it is very nice. It brightens up the area where I keep my lesser but nice weights. Thank you.
