Asian Bronze, Kwan Yin?

I have seen some similarish to my eye bronzes do very well at auction. That said with another bidder battling me I paid more than I would have liked for this recently. Would love some help identifying origin and age along with anything else anyone may see. I was guessing mid to later 19thC and hoping older. Is it a more modern copy though or an antique? There’s some flaws in the casting but I thought it was pretty nice. Should I have put more stock in the casting flaws? Delving more into bronzes lately and have a lot to learn

 

Your bronze is most probably Indian (India), and may depict a dancer. She does not display any particular attributes that would identify her as a goddess. The reclining position does not appear to be real common, but here is a similar example (I cannot vouch for the accuracy of their description or dating):

Well that wraps that mystery up!!!! Couldn’t get a lot closer without being from the same mold. I was actually wondering if it was Indian. Their description sounds pretty confident. Thank you
