    Hi,
That is wild. I paid 3 bucks for mine because I liked the frame.

Obviously, no one got rich off either of us :woot: I see both images also have what look like marks where someone attempted to clean it with an erasure or something in the sky area. I suppose that could have been on the negative as well but think it was more likely on a print. I think either these were both made off the same print or one was made off the other. Does yours look like it has image restoration in the upper right corner?

    Hi Brad,
It looks like a crude attempt with photoshopping on that corner. I thought it was just a bad scan until I looked at the photo with a loupe,
there are lines across mine that you see in the scan but are barely visable on the photo.

Nice pottery Brad! and good finds all around. You probably already know but in photo one with large green flower pot is a "Bauer swirl" and 2nd photo left flower pot is a Bauer shape I call "step" not sure if other companies made a similar version because the glaze is unusual. If Bauer made it was probably produced in Atlanta not California.

As for the Teco vase, my first thought was Fulper...

    Trip,

Thanks! The stepped one is Haeger. The swirl jard. is indeed Bauer.

The three works below were all "picked" from others sellers for around $70. None of the images are mine.

The first I believe is an oil on board, then oil on canvas and the last, gouache on paper.

The last painting Brad will probably like as he collects(?) these industrial-type pieces if I'm not mistaken. It's by a Pennsylvania artist and works of similar size and subject matter sell for around $700 - $1.5K

Here's a link to a similar work by the same artist: http://douglasrosin.1stdibs.com/itemdetails.php?id=232031

    Nuff,

You are right. This is right in my area of interest if not a little stark for my tastes. That would not deter me, given the values sold. ;)

thanks moontymes. I find using a light box in my garden with the sun overhead between 10am-1pm (depending on time of year) gives me the best results.
