Hello all, hope you are keeping well! I have become an auction junkie. I picked up this tray recently that was described as an "Art Deco tray". The style is more Art Nouveau in my opinion. I can see any maker's marks on it. My question is (as I really can't tell), is this just a modern repro? It measures 23"L x 7.75"W, quite heavy. Any input appreciated!

I'm not seeing modern repro in this.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

If I hadn't stopped for dinner, I'd have seen the one @say_it_slowly found! Came back short while ago and there is some sort of writing on the back of yours, @Elen Beattie, but probably of no use now....besides, you'd have to clean the back of the pan and use a Loupe to probably read any of it!! First shows where on the pan, second shows which sides:

Thanks for this! I'll give it a bit of a clean up and see if it says anything anyway :)

    JMHO.
definitely not proper art nouveau. Hong Kong might be right. the idea of differing plate and handles comes from continental Jugendstil where often handles were in brass riveted to copper trays. (WMF, CDE a.o.).
furthermore the proportions hurt my eyes...

    It also looks Chinese.
The handles are much too chunky and out of sync with the tray to be Art Nouveau, but I'm sure it will sell.

I like your tray . Maybe 1960's with pre-phillips screws.
