    hi all

something else i found yesterday that i couldn't resist for a fiver. might only be worth that much but it doesn't matter as im keepin him

hes the only one who'll sit with me and watch the deadliest catch without whinging that its the same old thing everytime :)

hes 11 inches, not mohair, and a little showboater

"shoot me in this light, shoot me in that light"),

"dont shoot me sitting down it makes my legs look too short"

    :):)

    guessing 60s or 70s ?

    any thoughts appreciated

I agree on 60s-70s. Very much like a teddy given to my son, born in 69. Cute!!

He looks old but agree not. Those eyes, the knitted fabric used for his pads. If genuinely old, he would be filled with excelsior.

He's got lots of personality. Look for black button eyes, mohair pads.

Looks like he is jointed. Arms and legs move? Maybe the head, too?

If yes, he was a bit fancier when new.

Here is the big question. If he sits with you during the deadliest catch, is he also a good bear when watching 90 day fiance? LOL
    just kidding.

Hi Lucille and pearls yeah head spins round, and arms and legs move

His arms move up over his eyes during the deadliest catch when things get a bit dicey :)

So very cute. He does remind me of the Gokra bears.

The start of a new collection. Perhaps one day it will rival Prince Andrew's. ;)

I heard he's happier around them, because they can't talk;);)

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

And look for that ever LOVIN' button in their LEFT ear that says they are STEIFF!!!
They are usually worth some $$$!! Enlarged button added in corner for clarification!!

I have a bag of Steiff stuffed animals - including a large chimp - that were my mom's. They are cute but I like your little guy; he's got a bemused look!

My only stuffed animal is Gizmo from the movie Gremlins. I got him for my mother when she got sick and was in the hospital. I knew flowers would die, but a stuffed animal could sit on her bed with her to remind her she was being thought of.
After she passed I brought it home with me and have it to this day.
