Hi Everyone! I hope you all are doing well!

I could use your help in identifying the mark JP and I want to know if this stone is tiger eye. I asked because most of these kind of stones I’ve seen online are much more brighter in colors. As always, thank you so much for your help. Stay safe and have a great day!

Hawkseye quartz, looks like. It's the dark brother to tigerseye.

Last two photos looks like it could be labradorite.

My first impression was Labradorite. My father was a geologist and had his tombstone made of it.

It is. I guess Afghanistan has a lot of Labradorite. He got to see it before he died. You would have liked my dad. A collector of ancient antiques, geologist, historian and wonderful taste in jewelry. he loved to give my mom and his three daughters jewelry. He also had a keen i for identifying time period based on clothing and construction or style. He was better than Google. A lot of knowledge died with him. I learned a lot but wish I could have absorbed it all

Your dad and this bunch would have definitely gotten along! IIRC that part of the world is a major source for the stone.
