    Hello, Antiquers:

To my knowledge these are cigarettes and toothpick holders. Any info on history and value of these would would be appreciated. I'm especially curious about the initials.

    Thanks!

Measurements are important to answer your "what are they" question.

Knickerbocker Mfg Co was renamed Knickerbocker Silver Co. before 1904 (per Rainwater.) Quadruple Plate was generally out of use by WWI, although some companies did continue use into the 20s. Look in eBay for what this kind of thing is selling for. It won't be much.

Thx for the comments. The larger piece is 2.75" x 3" smaller 1.75" x 2".

I could see that clearly but was hoping the initials would ring a bell for someone as far as early 1900s public figures. Also, I'm wondering if these items were special ordered with initials from the company or if the monograms came later by another company or private means.

Usually engraved to order by your local jeweler or department store, wherever you purchased the items. Often given as gifts, usually for a wedding. No reason to assume it didn't belong to your average Joe Neighbor.
