Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well and Happy & Safe Holiday to you and your families!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of stone is this. It is not jade or tourmaline and any help you could give me would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!

Could be garnet. I considered chrysoprase but it just doesn't look right to me for that.

I believe it is nephrite jade.

    Possibly grossular garnet.

I'd plump for garnet too. Grossular can have those black kiwi seed inclusions in it.

it would - perhaps - be helpful to know where it was bought or as what it was on offer and then go from there ?
the form looks Scandinavian Art Nouveau to me (skonvirke).

JMHO, but I am not seeing Art Nouveau, and with that clasp it is pretty recently made.

    Ditto on the recent clasp.
The shapes of skønvirke jewellery are generally more organic and luscious, also on the flower the designs. The engraving on the petals does not look like skønvirke to me either. The way the stones are mounted is usually different as well.

Thank you AJ! Any idea where you think it might be from and what do you think of the stone?

I think it is from the US, and I am with @stracci in believing it could be nephrite jade.

Canadian jade cut in China and exported worldwide. Illegally marked for metal content in the USA. Wriggle engraved, used mostly in the USA and Europe, the piece was made at unknown location.
