The mysterious sideboard.

    4810B2B4-4482-40F5-9419-26EAA4F0322B.jpeg 55C0375B-BD8A-4BAC-A9AE-370B6B7C81FE.jpeg I’ve been looking for this sideboard/dresser for a while now and cannot locate it anywhere. I believe it was made in the 50s or 60s but don’t know anything other than that. Does anyone have any idea of the manufacture or any other detail. Would help out a lot.

    Where did you find that one to get the picture? Looks like office furniture and the picture is hard to see the whole item.

    It was onset in Coronation Street during the 70s and wanted one for myself but cannot locate it anywhere. Hoping someone might know the manufacturer or even know the exact model.

    I doubt you will find an exact match, maybe similar.
    It might have been built by the set designers and was probably just a shell.

    Most that were in houses in the 50-60s were dumped when people modernized.

    This is an international board and I think 98% of members won't know what Coronation Street is.

    To be honest I expect only people from the UK would know anything about it anyway if anyone does at all. It is a possibility that it was designed specifically for the set but don’t know for sure. I’ll keep a look out.

    Not a huge "Coronation Street " fan, more of a "Are You Being Served" fan.......lol....
    but my all time favorite British TV series is no doubt, "The Avengers"..... may they all rest in peace ( with the exception of Linda Thorson and "New Avenger's" Joanna Lumley.)
