A mixture from the Charity shops today.
Japanese vase, drilled for a lamp.
Costume WEST goldtone brooch. Ruskin style and I believe a gold and seed Pearl brooch, alas one Pearl is missing.
The earrings and pendant set is silver with oxidised rosettes made by U.K. Designer Emma Turpin. Each was around £4.

@Ownedbybear those Bex ones are sometimes signed on the trombone part. Worth a close look with a loupe.
This is mine showing the sig.

I like that Emma Turpin set. Couldn't wear it - no holes - but I like modernist bits.

The rosettes turn too. She does limited editions or one off pieces. Can’t find any prices for her things online, I doubt I could afford this set new. I think I’ll be sending them off for Xmas to my art college friend who has short hair and a swanlike neck and who likes Scandi silver.

Too bad the only swans in these parts are on postcards from Longwood Gardens!

I have found in the past if you get offers soon after listing an item the buyer is basically trying to get the item for a low price so they can flip it usually at a much higher price. :p:p

Let 'er ride till the end!! :D:D:D

Overpaid at the estate sale, but shoes for me are crazy money because my size doesn't show up at retail and never goes on sale.

I've had it go both ways. I did end one early once. I had a scarf up for $10 and a dude in Paris offered me $100 if I'd ship right away; he wanted it for a book he was writing. It wasn't signed and odds were even if it was something good I wouldn't have gotten full value for it anyway. So off it went. Otherwise, letting it ride is a fairly safe bet.

I probably should have said, "is usually trying". :shame::shame::bag:

Your deal sounds like you made some pretty good money for the scarf. It's a gamble but sometimes that bird in the hand is too good to turn down. :p:p:D:D

I never could figure out who did the scarf, so it's not like it was a hot designer with a rabid following. So... why not? :greedy::greedy: Took the money and ran!

Some smalls from an estate sale today. The earrings say Mexico 925 and have marks I can't make out yet. The argillite is signed Denny Dixon '83. No marks on the necklace.

well this is not really a find, but
I got a Halo Bolt. Interesting item. I can plug in my devices to charge them, it has an a/c outlet for if and when the power goes out so I can plug in a lamp etc, it has jumper cables, it has a strong flash light, and a thingy to inflate tires.
Now I can plug in my failing GPS to recharge when I am out in the car rather than using the lighter which somehow disrupts my car.

    Got it on QVC,

    @BoudiccaJones

Found in an attic last week, I believe they are from 1974.
Sindy looks like she has had a night on the tiles :D
The clothes she is wearing have had a moth attack but the others in the case seem ok.
