Sorry-yes referring to squash blossom necklaces which some just call squashes.

I don't like fooling with NA jewelry unless it can be definitely authenticated. In this case I don't like the construction of the the beads. The solder seams appear too clean and neat. It seems like every other piece that is offered for sale is "pawn".

Pawn is right up there with vintage as an overused keyword that has become pretty meaningless unless an old ticket is shown.

People who want the real thing have probably given up on it as a search term. I wouldn't put it past sellers to list Old Pawn Sarah Coventry squash necklaces.

I had a piece of Native American Jewelry and the bear symbol belongs to a group of Native American artists that have a studio in New Mexico....hope this helps

I use Southwestern Silver and go from there in my searches. I don’t use Native America or any tribes. With some exceptions I don’t want signed pieces.

Why don't you want signed pieces?

Also, I found a "Golden Eagle" Mark that looks very similar to the mark on the back of the Squash

I have definite exceptions on a few specific artists but basically my interest is in historic NA jewelry up to approx. 1960 and little of it is signed. I’m more interested in pieces that were true pawn and worn within a family before they were sold. I definitely own some commercial pieces-that Singer for sure and I have a beautiful large chip inlay bird squash by Tommy’s brother William but overall give me an old concha with rotted leather, big conchas, no stones and a small buckle LOL.

I’ve seen this type of silver beads on signed Navaho pieces for sale and referred to as “Navaho Pearls”. BWDIK?

That's a standard name for them. Aka bench beads. The originals, I'm told, were often made from two silver dimes, hammered into shape. Don't ask me if it's true, but I can see someone getting canny when pieces of silver the right shape happened to drop into his lap.
