Oh, yes, it tracks me, it does.

fid, thank you. It isn't marked and I need to test it, but I'm fairly sure it's some grade of silver. Very well made, too. 1930s makes sense.

Two pictures from the Methodist Church sale for £1 each. Seems the publisher S W Partridge (printed the larger one) wrote hymns as well as publishing books in 19th century.

    Hi,
Nice old prints. Jerusalem crosses in the corners are a nice touch.

Those might have been in a church or rectory at some point. The frames point that way.

Yes, I think they probably were. I’m surprised they got rid of them as the Church still has worshippers, if in fact they came from the Methodist Church where the sale was.

Might not have. It's the sort of thing that gets outdated and unloaded eventually.

"He leadeth me, oh blessed thought . . ." has always been one of my favorite hymns.

I have an "old" hymnal (heavily indexed as to music composers and lyrics composers) which shows "William Batchelder Bradbury, 1816-1868" as the composer of the music and "Joseph Henry Gilmore, 1834-1918" as the author of the lyrics.

Got this Teddy Bear at the end of estate sale along with several other items for a total of $5.00!. Bear is a limited edition (15 of 75) and can't seem to locate him anywhere. I can find other Dorothy Hodges creations, but not Woodsy. Any ideas? IMG_3886.JPG IMG_3887.JPG IMG_3888.JPG

I pulled this out of the latest clearance today.

It was a good job I had my porridge this morning because this weighed like a dead cow and I was alone.

cast iron and has never been black leaded, painted or enamelled, it is coated in rust.
