Featured Banded Agate patterned bracelet

Apologies for spamming the forum at the moment. I’m trying to list stuff and keep on coming across lovelies that intrigue me and I like too much to sell.
I normally avoid stretch bracelets as a rule but I picked this one up at a car boot sale and have to admit didn’t really look at it other than thinking it was nice glass. On closer inspection it’s definitely stone but my search terms of dyed agate bracelets just lead me to luridly coloured monstrosities but this is rather lovely. The dark areas are definitely not painted on the outside and the stones are so polished that they are incredibly tactile.
Any search terms as to the pattern or style or how this was made would be great please.

Woah! I think it is made as Dzi beads are! Never seen on a stretch bracelet.

I have heard of Dzi beads but not read up how they are made. Seems plausible that this was made in a similar way. I’ll keep researching
