    Hi all

I'm new here, and don't know much about furniture. I've been given this piece of antique furniture, and was wondering if anyone knows what this is.

We don't know why pics from certain phones load sideways, so I've corrected them for you.

Next time you post it would be a good idea to select 'inset every image as full image'. TY

Filing cabinet for an office or library. I love it ! I could easily fill those drawers.Id guess circa 1900,give or take.

In my inexpert language, I would call it a filing cabinet-secretary since it has that pullout writing surface. Really beautiful. Welcome matt54

Very nice filing cabinet. Pull out surface is not for writing but to lay down files. M - S - O (or combination thereof) & Co (either makers or owners) were a classy bunch.

Perfect ca. 1890 walnut card catalog for a small town library with a "limited" number of volumes and storage beneath. Nicely refinished and handsome indeed!

Much like the one in River City's library.

    I'm guessing the monogram is M.O.S. (something-Office-Supply).
