Old Pedal Car.... Needs TLC.. any insight please

    British Toy Pedal Car by Line Bros. with Original Oil Cans and Tool Box
    Lot Number:
    177
    60" (152 cm.) Of heavy tin or metal,with wooden faux-trunk,the pedal car features running boards,driver's door,steering wheel,horn,lights,pedals,windshield,and is painted its original dark maroon color. Attached to the running board is an original oil can,and the original tool box. The car is labeled L.B. Ltd,London,Tri-Ang Motors,and the license plate reads "L.B.3067 Four-Wheel Brake". Excellent condition. Ex-collection David Pressland,author of The Art of the Tin Toy. British,Line Bros.,circa 1925.

    @Hachiko , @Any Jewelry ,Yep, this one is it ...same radiator cap and wheel covers and arrow on hood, and no "boot" or Trunk...... I was pretty sure it was not a USA manufacturer..... hope I "steered" you in the right direction....

    You certainly did… it took me all day browsing at the beach, but I managed to spot it.

    Definitely has that Packard shape grill..... maybe there is a British car similar to a Packard..

    Hood is longer, has louvers on the sides , has a trunk....similar, but I think an older one . More like the 1920's or late teens ....wire wheels, spring bumper

    neat find...may have to "hot rod" it...not sure what the market is for replacement fenders for British riding toys.......
