Can someone please help identify this cabinet

We just got this cabinet for free it’s about 4ft tall and 3ft deep. It’s very heavy. Took 3 men to load into truck. we are just trying to figure out if it’s old, and where it may have came from. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am from Texas.

 

I found it in south texas. The lady we got it from found it in Kansas City, but didn’t know anything about it.

Until the experts show up, I'll venture a guess and say Gothic Revival carved oak cabinet, late 19th, early 20th century. Seems like it's missing a base. Love the carvings.

Early 1900s oak. The subject matter and fairly heavy carving makes me think that it was Breton-made.

 

I’m going to get pictures of inside tomorrow. It’s out in our storage building. The side does have brackets for shelving. And a tray that pulls out like 3in with an octagon shaped lazy Susan on top of it... looks like a bar to me. Like it would be missing a bottom piece. I’ll also have to get pictures of the top where it looks like at one point a molding of some sort went on top of it.

 

Breton made? I think I ran across that name when I was trying to google where this thing would have come from. I’m definitely going to look into it.

 

probably meaning from Britanny. a far possibility, but IMO not fitting; neither from Normandie. I'd search further north towards the boarder to Belgium or even Belgium itself.

 

My mom thought Belgium as well. She thinks it was part of a wall unit.
