Featured necklace w/large carved ?amethyst? stone & carved beads--Any info appreciated

I am still trying to figure out what the white stone is and any thoughts would be appreciated. Looking at this item I think the rose beads are rose quartz and the purple stones are amethyst. The only description I could find for a similar necklace with white stone beads was the following Etsy listing: "Vintage Chinese Carved Amethyst & Rose Quartz Shou Bead Necklace Sterling Silver Clasp Frame which "stated "Small, clear crystal, or perhaps clear quartz beads, are strung in between each gemstone bead." So I am guessing they may be clear quartz beads.

 

The only way to know for sure what any of these stones are is to take it to someone who is qualified to ID them. You can also find someone with a gem tester, that would help!

 

Thank you I will do that. This is funny--when I googled prices for "gem tester" there were a whole bunch around $20 with a 4 star rating and a whole bunch around $200-$350 with a 4 star rating !!

 

IMO it is definitely not OK to refer to another seller when selling. Also, know that IMO their prices are known to be ridiculous and sales are made off offers. To give one example I paid $2700 for a necklace at a known high end once a year market. It was a piece I had been looking for for years and lost it on ebay when i bid to $2500 and didn’t go high enough. The last time I checked it was still listed at $12,000!
