I just stumbled on these at a thrift store in Minnesota and loved the look. Once I had them I noticed the markings and figured I’d look them up. Hard to find a lot of info so I figured I’d see what folks smarter than me might know. I learned about the company already while looking, neat history but couldn’t find a catalog or anything that would help me further.

They give off a churchy vibe to me but I about broke my neck trying to crane sideways to see ! Maybe they were in a rectory or funeral home or the like.

It's the Romanesque arches that give off a church-y vibe.

Look to be Stiffel's version of French Carcel oil lamps from the 19th Century like this one. 50's or 60's vintage.

For future notes, how do I get these pics upright lol. I took them up and down but loaded sideways

It seems to happen with iPhones. Is that what you use?

It has never been figured out. Someone will usually fix them.

I think it's just a consequence of the software used to display the photos when using portrait mode on an iPhone. The software displays it in landscape by default. If you open on a computer, a portrait mode shot will typically be rotated as well. Maybe something with the internal workings, not sure

    That's my nickel's worth anyhow.
