Another group has identified this bowl as late 1800's early 1900's King street Derby (later Royal Crown Derby) It is stamped Bone chine England. Measures approx 10" wide and 3" high. Anybody any ideas on the pattern etc? Any help appreciated. Thanks peony 1.jpg peony 3.jpg

Nah. This is a 20th C mark for a company called, from memory, Crown Porcelain or Crown China. It may be as late as the 50s. 1950s that is.

I've seen lots of pots and crockery with that mark here, and it always looks fairly recent. That transfer mark is a dead giveaway. I really doubt it's Artone. I think someone misread Godden: the mark above Artone is Art Potteries, who used a crown. ;)
