Can we add a LOVE instead of just like? I’m sorry but their response was just over the top. As far as I’m concerned that listing was internet fraud. IMO it’s pretty obvious that they’re an irresponsible seller and instead of just owning up to having made a mistake they responded with vitriol to strangers that were trying to help them. I stand by my response.

I think my biggest issue is not that a $3 was misrepresented as an $800 piece ( and I have issues with that but we all make mistakes and the seller did end it). My issue is that the entire piece was misrepresented cost and attribution aside. Forget that it wasn’t Haskell (and not even close and I am not a Haskell expert although I’ve owned many definitely Haskell pieces in my life), the entire piece was misrepresented. It was obvious strung on wool or acrylic, not silk and no Bakelite was in the piece-those pieces were all contemporary synthetic material. That train wreck was then topped off with attitude from the OP. No one shamed them here but honestly, shaming was probably called for.

 

And that goes right along with every other choice they made. Sorry but their entire attitude was not honorable and they’re a seller I’d hope to avoid. There were just way too many serious errors in that listing to think this was a unique mistake.
