    Oh I know,
I don't go out of my way to buy these, ancient coins is such a vast subject.
I prefer the last 400 years.

@Marko - that bangle is from India, I'm sure you know. Very nice Chinese export fan.

It is the third best thing I've found there over the last...4 years or so. This is one they really should have caught being so clearly marked. I'm not complaining

Thank you. I didn't know that was India workmanship. Tribal-type jewelry like this is not my forte. I was thinking African due to the natural material.

What a day. I got up at 5 a.m. and headed to a yard sale at a historical center. There was a bunch of people stealing from the few vendors there. I don't know why they didn't call the police. I got out of there. Not much at my flea market, either. I did hit a yard sale on the way home. The guy bought storage units and was moving. I asked him if he had any jewelry, and he went in and brought a few things out.

He had some gold-filled and sterling pieces, but I got a 15" 14k chain and 14k watch. There is a Schwob watch in there, interesting reading. There is a goldtone nephrite jade bracelet, one gf scarab bracelet, Murano bead necklace. I spent $4 at the yard sale. The flea market had some good modern Barbies. Some sell for better prices than jewelry, so it was just okay. Hope you all had better luck.

I went to three tag sales, there were only four but one looked like furniture/junque and it was well away from the rest. All I could think was "I got out of bed two hours early for this???" Spent $11 between the three tag sales and a charity thrift. One buck was on the kind of jigsaw my mother likes. OTOH there was a Belleek shamrock vase and a lucite with flowers ice bucket in the pile. Total Lillian Vernon stuff, but I know an antique dealer who'll probably love it.

You never, know, right? Good news here is our state forests/parks have opened up again for having outdoor shows and festivals. I am looking forward to two shows in September. There is usually a couple of bi-annual flea markets in October, too. I have an outdoor antique show happening in August, too, an hour away, that is always worth the ride. I get my husband to take me because the ice cream shop there makes milkshakes with 5 scoops of ice cream. We also stop at Oyster Creek for a late lunch/early dinner. Oyster Creek, picture above, is in Leeds Point, home of the Jersey Devil. I wish you all could come here and have dinner with me!

They would disappear never to be seen again.
I will keep them along with the rest of my collection until I retire.

Thank you, just using my Android to shoot pics. I love looking at yours and everyone else's finds, too. It is fun to be with your tribe who gets it! And I learn a lot, things to look for other than jewelry.

Goofy stuff turns up at odd moments. I found two of the biggest scores of my life at the "last yard sale" I wasn't even planning on stopping at. Possibly the biggest hit ever was in an antique store where the lady knew jewelry ...allegedly. She threw two nice 18k chains in with the costume. They weren't there long.(LOL)

I've never been in Leeds Point, but do know someone who went Jersey Devil hunting. Not catching naturally.
