    Hi,
Not what I consider a "pie safe". To me pie safes are taller have no drawers. Doors are usually punched tine and sides for ventilation and keeping out insects and mice.

    No, isn't a pie/food safe.

Thank you! I’m guessing just a cabinet used in the kitchen or dining area. Any thoughts on what era? 50’s maybe?

Odd thing. Think 40s-50s. Is that a drawer up top? Wood face in the left door? Maybe both originally glass? … or maybe both originally blind?

It is a drawer up top. I’ve added a bit better photo. Actually one of the doors has a mirror, and one is glass. Probably the mirror was added.

Looks like a man's dressing cabinet. Mirror to check shoes/ Box at top for watch, cuff links, etc. Glass on bottom to display shirts and pick color for the day. Remember, folks were a little shorter then.

    Hi @Upcyclinganne I - welcome!

I don't know where you are from, but looks like it may be from the UK.

it has "waterfall" elements to it that don't really relate to the other decorative elements, like the rounded strangely patterned wide drawer handle, oddly patterned metal handles and marquetry on the corners.

Maybe it's a completely stripped waterfall piece?

What's that component on the top?

I see your second image and it's likely it is a gentleman's dresser. The nice drawer on top for jewelry and change.

The wood combinations seem British, but then again could be Dude Ranch!

Wow I never considered something like that. How interesting. The drawer at top does have dividers.

Yep, I think that's probably correct, men's dresser. Pie-food safes are a whole other thing.
The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, did a study/exposition of food safes a couple years ago, first time i am aware that any scholarship has been done on these utility kitchen objects. In some places food safes are a BIG DEAL & can sell for big money too.
