2 Japanese woodblock prints, older label from California framer

Assuming these are Japanese woodblock prints. Can anyone help with the signatures?

Label is from: "The Picture?" 1106 S. Pacific San Pedro. I could not find anything online, but believe this address is in California. I suppose lack of area code dates the framing a bit. Maybe 1940's?

Any help or suggestions welcome. They seem quite nice to my eye. A friend pointed out that the one seems a bit unusual where the scene is viewed from someone standing in a dark house or barn and sort of viewing the lighter scene.

Any idea from the signatures of the artist (s)? Also are these above average in any way? Wondering how much time I should put into located the artist (s). Thank you for the help!

Just fyi, all-number calling replaced exchanges + numbers from 1958 to the mid-1960s. 1960s looks about right for The Picture?'s sticker.

Kasamatsu Shiro "Sea of Echigo"

I was just going to write that! Agree. They're both very nice, by way. Western influence in artist's use of linear perspective.
