Vintage snap on tool. No clue what it is for. Help.

    I would say it's an extension for a torque wrench to get into a specialized place, possibly on some kind of vehicle. The square end will fit the torque wrench.

    that end looks like it's had a long hard life......but the pic is not clear enough or straight on for me to say for certain...

    still..... yer question is valid.....as the metal looks disturbed...:););)

    Snap on have a life time warranty on their tools. My OH has had a few replaced by them so if it’s damaged find a snap on dealer and ask them to replace it!.

    Or just sell it to a "car guy" into old Nashes, or an old car guy into old tools. There are plenty of both.
