And you've checked carefully for marks?

Yes i have. The only mark on it is located at the bottom of the swing but it’s just marking 14k. I've searched everywhere for months and haven't found anything similar or of close resemblance.

Beautiful. Yours looks older and much finer quality than the ones I’m seeing online (made of brass and mostly modern).

It almost looks like it’s Indian inspired but made in a European country?

Amazing piece CChandani. I have never seen anything like it.
It looks like it was made for the Indian market, Asian made.
It not only has sapphires and diamonds, but also lapis lazuli, coral and pearls.
The coral looks like Pacific coral to me, another indication of possibly Asian.

The figures look 1970s to me, but could be later. Interestingly they look like they could be based on European myth, but that could just be my perception.
Could we see more of the boy(?), the figure at the back?
The birds could be peacocks. Their crowns look like crescent moons. The peacock (or peahen) is often associated with the moon.

Thank you for your info. I initially thought Asian as well but since i couldn't find anything online I was not super sure. Im still new to this site so as soon as i figure out how to upload the correct size of image i will upload more pictures.

Email them to yourself and select size medium. That should fix the size problem.

I searched for “Indian swing statue”. Here is one example.

It seems like they are typically brass. Sometimes colored glass or enamel is added but I couldn’t find any examples using gold or precious stones.

My first thought was Indian. Might have been made for the UAE market.

    Fabulous thing.

Are you sure there is nothing written above 14k?

Thank you for the extra photos CChandani.
It looks like the male figure is wearing a fantasy armour, inspired by ancient Greek or Trojan armours.
I have never seen Krishna wearing armour, certainly not around Radha or the other Gopis. And I don't think Radha was ever depicted bare-breasted.

I still think the scene looks European, or from Hellenic Asia Minor.
