    Hello again,
I have purchased few jade and oriental jewllery, first timer thing :),
and would like your help in identifying the pices. The top ones are my favorite, but I bought one to many, so I would also like to ask : Which ones would you keep? I think there is something for everyone on the table :)
Number 3 I think is red jade, very cold to touch and lights through red.
Number 25 would like to make them into earrings, but the person I commissioned said that they may be pressed glass, as they have a joint line, and may not be worthed. What do you think?
They are 34 all together, I would like to keep 10 of them.
    Let me know your thoughts.

    Quite a collection, Simona.
I do see something of interest, #11 a Maori tiki, New Zealand pounamu (jade or bowenite) could I see that up close and personal please.

I will give the rest a try, one row at a time.

    # 1 is dyed. Could be jade, could be serpentine jade, I'd need a close up.
#2 is jade, a cute Swoboda style butterfly, so American, not Asian.
#3 is a Chinese mass produced piece. They rarely use jade for these, but you never know. A close up will help.
#4 cute Chinese cloisonné. Are they beads? If so, perfect for earrings.
#5 probably not Asian. Could be Canadian jade?
@Ownedbybear .:) She will agree that you got the most important part right, her beloved Bear (the cat).

1 could be pressed glass. I have some like that which are glass- can’t see without a close up.

#7 a Chinese fan, mass produced, not much to say.
    #8 an American billiken charm.
#9 and 10 too small for me to see.
#11 as I said, a Maori tiki, love to see more.
#12 Chinese charm with an auspicious character, someone else will say which one.;)
#13 Screwback earrings, look like chrysoprase, but could be jade. Too small to tell.

Stendhal syndrome is setting in, so I need a break, but #24 is looking good from here and I wonder if #22 is marked?

Could be, a close up is definitely needed, for many of them. They are very small.

I live in London, you are wellcome to come any time to see my tiki :)
I have tried to take few photos, maybe help. The cloisonne earrings are one of my favorite, I did not clean them, I am worried the colours will wash off... do you think it's safe to wash them? Can you say an approximate year that would have been made? Also, except the tiki, anything else you would keep?

They are gorgeous, not your regular cloisonné at all, more like Canton enamel. Probably early 20th century.
A gentle wipe won't do them any harm, and I see vinegar is in order to get rid of the verdigris. Enamel is basically glass, so it won't wash off. It can flake, so be careful.

The bracelet is pressed glass, probably Czech.

The pendant, I still can't tell. Hopefully some kind of carnelian or dyed agate.

Not necessarily my favourite, but it is much more unusual than the others.
It is a Hei Tiki, hand carved in the time before the NZ government support of Maori culture by means of Maori craft centres. Probably 1950s-60s. Not the best quality, but that is typical of the period. There will be interest in it.
A Tiki is an ancestral spirit. Hei Tikis, or Tiki pendants, are worn as protection.

No 22 is not hallmarked, it's a brooch, feels like silver to me, looks like silver. Wonder if they are letters, and what do they mean, looks like a human standing on the side...

Number 24 , they are cold to touch, very nice and smooth, probabaly jade... they look like some creatures, tortoises , and have holes in them, maybe part of a pendant or bracelet...I will add a close up later.
    Thank you so much

A portrait of a Maori noblewoman wearing a Hei Tiki, by Gottfried Lindauer, early 20th century.

Another Chinese auspicious character, what looks like a human is part of the character. Probably silver. Do you have a test kit?

I can go and test them in my local area, I can get one or two tested for free. I am considering buying a kit.

Number 31 bracelet is likely worth hundreds of dollars by itself.

Only if it is gold. Most of those were gold tone or gilt brass or silver.
The same goes for the other jade and gold(tone) bracelets.
