Metal Vase. Bidriware, Niello?

    Hello

    Please help me ID this little vase. I'm quite certain it's not silver, though I haven't tested it. Last time I bought what I thought was bidriware I was wrong, so I'm asking here this time.

    It wants to be Indian but not quite. Indonesian? It looks like nickel-plated brass with black enamel. It's made like it's Indian but the design looks wrong to me, not that I'm anyone's expert.
