I found these at a yard sale today ($1 each so even if broken they are cool!) - I think they are still good because the filament isn't broken?
What are these called? (I looked on eBay and saw 'double loop' triple loop, balloon etc)
What time period are they from?
    Thank you!

Just checked in case it helps; the big ones are 9" tall & the smaller ones are 7" tall
    Thanks again!

Late 50's/early 60's? My Dad made a ship in a light bulb that his neighbor brought home from his job at the unloading docks in the Black river. I won't hijack this thread with pictures . I'll start my own post.
But anyhow these were the lightbulbs they used to light the commercial shipping unloading (Iron Ore) in the Lorain Ohio, Black river iron ore pellet terminal - and I'm sure so many other places! Guess that was "breaking Science" at the time

They're industrial/ warehouse bulbs. Not antique. Not really collectable. Just obsolete.

Do they rattle when you shake them? If they do, they won't work.
Here is some info, including different shapes, but no info on dates of shapes:

The town where I live is the hometown of Philips, a company that started producing light bulbs in the 1890s. There is a museum, you could contact them. I'm sure they have an idea (lightbulb:playful:) even if yours are probably not Philips made. You can contact them at info-museum@philips.com
    From this site:

The first Philips 'factory', the museum is built around it:

To us light bulbs are never 'just lightbulbs', so @Rayo56 you may like this.
Early light bulbs were made by women and young girls whose delicate fingers could get inside the bulb (sorry, no ships;)). This is 'our' Lampmaker statue, honouring those who brought light to our world in the 1890s:

No one ever stuck their fingers in a bulb to produce them
