Hello! I’m inquiring about these chairs- I’ve found similar Cushman chairs online however, they have a cutout in the back and mine don’t..

    history:
My grandparents purchased these before my mother was born (1939). They lived in New Jersey at this time since my grandfather worked for the NY port authority. They are sturdy and heavy- the joints are tight and nothing moves on these chairs- I’ve always loved them but only have 3- I was looking for another without arms but can’t find them without the cutout in the back. They say Cushman on them- but am wondering if they are or are not chusman- and if they are some kind of knockoff- how can I find a fourth of the knock off!!! :)thank you!

ETA- I just realized, I have 4, it needs to be fixed- it’s in my basement- I totally forgot!!! I feel like an idiot! So I guess my only question is are they cushman, since I couldn’t find any without the cut out in the back piece. Thanks!

You could try signing up at Live Auctioneers - it is free. They are a clearing house for auctions all over the US. They will alert you when one comes up, but you must be patient, as you will see things you don't want.

They're Cushman, 4-24 number indicates they were introduced in 1934 and probably made for 2-3 years.
