    1. I have looked for a sight that shows Waterford patterns from the inside so I could find these patterns.
    2. 2 pieces that look exactly the same but are not. On the 2 pieces, they are 6" tall and 2 /4: in top diameter. They are marked. The differences: the one on the right has thicker glass that is noticeable when you hold them. Then the bottoms have different radiating stars. One on the left does not go to the foot edge while the right one does. Explanation for difference? Also, is this Lizmore or something else?
    3. Next is 6" tall and 2 3/8" in top diameter. Can't find the pattern name.
Thank you for your help. Patd

Lismore's stem doesn't have a flair at the bottom. It's straight up from the base to the bottom of the bowl. The book I got with my Waterford stems doesn't give height for the various shapes in each pattern, only the quantity of liquid each shape holds.

EDIT - I don't see a match to your last picture in the book at all. It may be that this was a design that had already been discontinued or had not yet been released when I got mine in 1997.

Your top 2 look to be a pattern called Kinsale. the stem shape is right. Hard to tell on the diamond cut.

Thank you BDigger. Do you have a place where one can see the cuts?
Also, what about the weight difference and foot cutting in the top 2.

Yep, that was my first go to. Sometimes the patterns are so similar, they are hard to discern.:(
BTW, I did find some with various width stars on the bottoms. Guess it depended on the cutter.

I have a Waterford book that is great for the shapes etc.....with some hand drawings of the cuts, but I have no way to scan it in. Google each pattern and it will bring up pics that may help. The difference in the top pair is not unusual. Different factories and hand cutting could account for the difference. I did not see any Waterford marks in your pictures, wonder if not marked they may be “seconds”.

The problem with Waterford is that many patterns are very similar.

Yep, they are marked but my poor 'antique' camera isn't too good at picking up fine detail - and the flash has quit working.:( Guess I'll have to find another this year.
