    Hi everyone,
next on my line of questions are 3 satsuma vases. This is the first one, approx 19 cm / 7.5 inch tall, very finely decorated and gilded all over. I'd love some help with date and value if possible. Any other observation is highly appreciated. Thank you so much! Very pretty, with the moriage dots and line work I suspect it is around 1890-1900 towards the end of the Meiji period. As it is unsigned it is going to be near impossible to identify the maker, and this also affects value. At auction in the UK I have seen items like this fetch anything between £30 and £200, it is very much a lottery on time/location/who's bidding when dealing with unsigned works.

Edit: For clarity, the prices I suggested were each (not as a group)

These are nice quality. The birds are well done but without a signature I would expect them to sell at auction for £60-£80 each

Thank you John, I am surprised that such an elaborated object has a relatively modest value but I am happy to know where to start.

    why ?
They made millions of them...they're not unique...and they're not 26 inches tall either...
