In case this is helpful, I made it a bit lighter (I was thinking there was a cross there, but now I think it's a fence)... temp01.jpg

@Scott1989 If you photograph it on a black/dark background, it's likely your camera will do a better job with the details.

It looks like some kind of token.

To me, fidgeting with it, looks to be two birds sitting on a fence.....I think.....very cool coin or token or whatever!!!!

Agree with token. Base metal probably spelter, plated with something. Looks like each side was cast then two sides joined back-to-back. ??

Do you think the edge seam is from a mold or from two halves joined?

Because all I think about are buttons glued together.

(edit: or what @springfld.arsenal said :hilarious:)

Just wondering, does anyone think the top thingie is an R, or just decoration?

I started out thinking it was an "R" but landed on "decoration"...

Google suggest I don't understand what the word "token" encompasses... I was thinking they had to be flat. :bored:

Hmmmm....interesting point, but am still leaning towards decoration as it goes so far equally in both directions at the top.....IMHO!!!!
