No 1. those have MUSI on them.
No 2. these have no mark that I can see.

I will likely just sell them on fleabay sometime.

The round pink and green brooch has a mark that says Original by Robert.

I see this stuff at the flea markets all the time. Never gave it a second glance. I will have to learn more and pay attention when I see a box of this stuff at the next flea. The heavy rain will keep the flea market from happening today.

What a wonderful collection! If these are the leftovers, I'd have loved to see the "good stuff". Warms my heart to hear that your daughters appreciate grandma's lovely things and are keeping them.

    Thank you,
And yes, these were the leftovers. The girls took maybe a couple hundred rings , piles of necklaces(some were quite elaborate looking) and lotsa pierced earring stuff. They likely took the best brooches as well to make into necklace pendants.
When they were little their grandma would have them princess dresses and such. So when she would babysit , they would get into the jewelry and dresses and be entertained for hours.

Here is some more of the stuff. There is quite a bit more , but most of it is damaged or single/unmatched earrings and such. But here is another batch of stuff that is either matched or appears complete.

I think they are so cool too. My grandmother wore glasses that looked just like them.

Are the girls old enough to be careful with these newly acquired pieces?

The girls took maybe a couple hundred rings

You might want to double check to see if any of the rings are gold

They likely took the best brooches as well to make into necklace pendants...Piles of necklaces(some were quite elaborate looking)

Certain costume designers, Schreiner, Miriam Haskell --just a short list, can sell in the hundreds (sometimes a thousand+) for brooches and necklaces. Mostly the elaborate multi-colored over the top signed rhinestone pieces. Also wondering if there might have been any fine jewelry in the mix since the jade and sterling set were overlooked.

Even if the girls are old enough to be careful and not deconstruct items (wasn't sure what "making them into necklace pendants" meant...) it might be nice for them to know what is what.

Could you possibly go through the girl's pieces, maybe make it a game of identification? And see if any are signed? Or just look at the truly over the top pieces you mentioned and look for signatures? The pierced earrings are probably not worth too much, unless gold, etc. It might just be nice for the girls to know which pieces to be a bit more careful with.

As for the 2nd photo of clip-ons, not seeing anything too valuable. Maybe a nicer pair of rhinestone ones, but even those are probably worth less that $20.

That is awesome. Those earrings look similar to a pair in this stuff.

    Lucille,

Thank you for the thoughtful post.

The girls are great caretakers of the stuff. They love "LOUD FASHION"....lol
They are ages 29 and 24. I am not sure but I think they just intended to hang the big brooches from a chain. I will make sure though. Some of the rings and necklaces were quite large and showy. I think there was a lot of gold and silver items that they took to keep in the family as well. They spent 7 hours going through that stuff with their grandma. I am pretty sure Mom enjoyed it more than them.

Do some research. Don't be in a hurry to sell.

This site is well known and has good information.
