Identify Chairs

    Hi there,
    My grandad recently unexpectedly passed away, and we were left full of his garage of a couple thousand records, and his other antiques. I believe these chairs to be basic Victorian Dining Chairs, probably late 19th Century, however quite a lot of the ones I have found, are balloon shaped, so I would just like confirmation on their name, date, use, and how much they could be sold for. (I have two). Selling in the UK.

    I've uploaded to imgur links, as the file seems to be too large, and I'd rather not compress it so as to reduce quality.

    These are commonly called Shield Back design.
    There is no reason you can`t post your pics, people don`t like to click links.

    Apologies, I reckon I clicked the upload a file instead of the photo icon in the text editor at the top, which told me the file was too large. Are these chairs anything special? How much would you value them at. Thanks

    I just copied your pics and hit upload a file and they appeared, I did not reduce the size.

    They look quite nice, its hard to put a value on them, they are cetainly not junk.
    I would ask around a few auction outlets before selling.
