Hello everyone and thanks for having me,
Yard saleing around today, lady was selling boxes of glassware $.25-.50 a box. I picked up everything she had, $6 worth. This bowl was in w/ a set of crescent china. Iā€™d like to know if anyone can help me identify and price this piece. I cannot find anything about it online besides the mark dating it between 1970-1990. Seems like an authentic piece and the hand painting/engraving is beautiful! Thanks. 69CA5AF9-D516-4667-9D05-6B659E53B1B1.jpeg F64674BE-BA14-4BD8-986A-39DF0BE5F3CF.jpeg

I don't think anything with that "decorative use only" tag is old.

    Welcome Joe.
Chinese dynastic marks were also used apocryphal, so in later periods. Either as a tribute to a period in history, or to deceive. In this case it is a tribute, also called an honorific mark.
So the marks don't mean much on their own, you have to look at the entire piece.

Thank you for the feedback, are many of these pieces made in a set or unique? It seems i cant find this one anywhere online and thats leading me to believe that it could be unique.

Not being able to find more doesn't mean it was a one off. It just means no one has bothered to take a photo of theirs or offer it for sale in a venue that advertises online.;)
Uniquely made items are higher quality, this is more towards the production line end of the spectrum.

Thanks again, we have a vintage art and deco store out this way thatll put an eye on it as well! Either way the wife seems to want to hang on to it. Who knows, might pay off in the future, and it complements the living room well!

So I hope I'm doing this right I clicked on the previous quote on the Chinese porcelain and read this"Thermoluminescence dating porcelain."and I was wondering I have this bowl which is one of the reasons why I signed up here to try to find it and it had a hole in the side of it like drilled out and then another place that was marked like they were going to drill and could that possibly be with the did with this and would anybody by any chance know anything about this bowl?

A perfect reason to keep it, especially since your wife likes it.:)
