Featured Show and tell - Debra Swauger (Steidel) porcelain shell vase

    Thought I'd share this recent find. Beautiful porcelain seashell vase by Debra Swauger(later Steidel). Some of her more recent work incorporates glass and bronze and much more complex elements(and are absolutely gorgeous). See:

    This one is an earlier piece, simple yet very beautiful to the eye. Haven't quite found the right light to photograph the beautiful colors in this but here are some pics:

    Gorgeous! I went through an art pottery phase but I had to back off,for obvious reasons,but Id have jumped on that one.

    I couldn't leave it in the store...that's for sure. The cashier said " you found this in here??? it's exquisite!". I had to agree :joyful:
