I wish that could help, but it doesn't, I'm afraid. Replacements has over 8000 pictured patterns, the number reduces only slightly by limiting the list to "gold trim."

My eyes can't take it. Especially since I can't figure out how to print out one of your pictures for reference while browsing. So many of the patterns are similar.

    Sorry.

@Bakersgma .....if you have a printer......and save images in one place....you can RIGHT click on Studio Antiques image, then LEFT click to save it where you want to, then go to it and print it from whatever editing program you use (even just PAINT on your computer)!!! Hope that helps....if you have the needed printer!!

I checked my Noritake book (Early Noritake...by Aimee Neff Alden) and she identifies the mark as MM-39 and dates it to circa 1933. It's been my experience that if there is not a pattern name on the china itself it is very, very difficult to identify. To make matters worse urns of flowers were probably one of the most common Noritake motifs. You could spend hours scrolling through Replacements and still come up empty. Even if you do find it the pattern will only have a Replacements identifier code. And most patterns sell for modest sums at best. It's simply not worth the effort.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

The reason you can't upload pics is that the file sizes are way too big. There are lots of freebie programs (for your computer or your phone) that should let you save at a reasonable size without too much loss of detail.

Once you figure out how to do it, the entire process takes about 15 seconds per pic -- easy peasy and certainly worth learning!

@Bakersgma We are aware that there are thousands of patterns and it is not easy, but perhaps someone knows.
@dgbjwc Thanks! :) MM-39 is definitely a start, we just like to be as precise as humanly possible
@Jivvy We make sure to take the photos in a lower-resolution format, abt 2MP. The files usually come up as a few hundred Kb worth of info so there's no problem. Unfortunately there is sometimes the random error and when we can't figure it out, we just do it the google drive way.

    Thanks for the help everyone!
