I just picked up 2 of those Robinson Ransbottom Pottery pieces. One yesterday and one today. They are like a green crackle look. I like yours. Very nice colors.

Look forward to seeing the pictures. I have a few other Ashanti weight pieces. One is a crocodile
and the other 2 are rings with a lizard and a chicken on them.

I found a Monday garage sale!!! That might be a first for me. Walked out with a few interesting things. These 2 have me stumped. Anybody have any info on them? The little pitcher has some numbers on the bottom but are hard to read. I think it also says merry x-mas in pencil possibly. The urn/vase is bronze/brass/copper or something of the sort. Pretty heavy for the size. I scuffed a hidden spot to see the color shine through. The pineapple topper threads in and the base threads on as well.

The Pineapple screws into the lid and the lid just free sits on top. Terry is right though , it is a paint on patina. Great colors and enough heft to maybe just keep outside on the table it is pictured on. heavy enough that the wind wont blow it away.

Couple of fun vintage finds... Keeping both.

Multi-colored 60s/70s stacking chair set (Virco, Los Angeles) and 60's outdoor chaise lounge cushion.

great finds Lucille:) Those stacking chairs are great to have around and since they stack they don't take up much space ( I have some too!)
Love your cushion!! It that the original lounge it is on?

Yes, I think might have been school chairs. These are the adult sized version in any case. They are super functional due to the stacking. Already used them for extras at a party.

The cushion is kind of a quirky story. It was at the GW on half price day Saturday -- so $2.99. There is one that sold on Ebay for $100, same era and construction (vinyl one side, cotton the other) but MOD colors, hot pink, red, etc. so I decided to get this one for possible resale. (Mindful that shipping would be pricey needing an oversized box, which would require finding the box, etc, etc...) Got home and thought I might just try for a quick turn $40 turn-around on Craigslist instead. But then took the photo on an old vintage metal chaise lounge we have in the back. Of course a perfect fit. So now thinking may be a keeper. (Unless I get a bite on Craigslist, of course.)

It reminds me of some of the original cushions you see on vintage Homecrest patio outdoor furniture. I have the feeling someone had it in a garage or attic unused for the last few decades as it really doesn't look too used.

I love that chaise cushion. I bet you could get $100 for it, but I would keep it!

I'm going to have to find a yearbook, because I'm pretty certain the class of 1977 sat on those chairs in the lunchroom. The orange one -- and, no, it was not our school color.:D

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

This general Antique Discussion forum would work. It's better to have the discussion in its own thread, of course -- gets too congested in this one!

Are there pencil lines above and below the diamonds and triangles?

    janettekay Well-Known Member

No. only pencil marks are on bottom base rim. Writing and numbers. Also on that base rim...203...incised.
