Watch chain wierd part

    What's it for? The little wheel thing turns.

    Did you notice the arrow at the bottom?
    Where I circled, does that unscrew, or does the right side pull out?

    As for what the wheel thing is, sorry don't know. Looks like a small pulley.

    looks like a hook of some sort , to roll onto a belt...belt loop....button hole or pocket....

    The big loop slides opposite the arrow direction for putting keys on

    Is the circumference of the little wheel-like bit an even amount in either English or metric units?

    0.267", 6.7mm diameter. Grooved in the middle.

    Is that a mark above the pulley in pics 2 and 3?

    Only marks on the whole thing is the arrows on the big ring

    Maybe rather than keys, it's meant for small fussy tools. Either a specific trade, or something like smoking accessories.

    Which is to say, I don't really know, but that's what it makes me think of... and as I write this, I realize it's not all that helpful. :rolleyes:

    Terry, I am going to show this picture to the guys (they are older twins) who repair my watches. They are from New England originally.... maybe they might know what this is. Looks like a spool.... thread or fishing line holder?
