Foo dog Incense burner is it real?

Hi, I found this Chinese piece in an antique shop, and I want to know your opinion, about the age, the authenticity and value in today's market, I'll appreciate any help:



and what about this metal vase?

 

I don’t think a ruler from that angle on the vase is giving us much information.....how about a straight on image with the ruler?? Thanks!!

 

It's a real incense burner and the vase is a real vase. No idea on the burner, but if I were guessing I'd say 1930s on the vase.

 

it's about 24 cm.

Show it to a major auction house......they'll tell you right away if it's worth enuf for them to handle...

Then they'll tell u how much they charge for their service..!
