black amber orange old ? glass vase id

    hey folks, this was another item i picked up yesterday

    anyone have an idea of age/origin

    looks black, orangey amber in light

    any thoughts appreciated

    It's moulded. I suspect it's a container rather than a vase.

    Check out Wheaton Glass as a possibility.
    A vase, not a bottle.

    thanks, yeah the colour makes me think of cola !

    ill look into Wheaton glass

    what sort of age do you think

    not sure if molded is a good or bad thing

    I'm sorry, Charlie, but I don't think it has much value. These types of bud vases were produced in large numbers during the 1970's and 1980's, probably as part of a vase line for florists. Usually you see milk glass but green and amber are also common.

    Oh, for sure! I hope I didn't disrespect your vase. It wasn't my intention. It's still a very useful item. I wish I could remember to cut more of my flowers to use in the bud vases I have.
