Featured Spinach Jade (?) Bowl

This is from the reseller's treasures. He believed it to be a spinach jade bowl. It is not new, but he didn't know when he acquired it. I've always wanted one of these, but they have been too expensive. It is quite translucent, and I've always thought of spinach jade as being more dense and a darker green. This is why I'm coming to you for some help. It has a natural flaw running down one side, so for a collector this may not be the most desirable piece. Thus it has come into my possession. I believe it was probably production cut and polished and not an older piece. I'm just looking to confirm the material.
The base is not original It is too big. When I removed the tag from the bottom, there was no signature. (Boy was that scary to try and pry the tag off such a thin piece.) It is small at 4 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches tall. Any thoughts, comments, ideas will be greatly appreciated.

 

Do you know anyone with a gem tester?

 

No. Sad to say. Any jeweler around here would charge.

I'm in Long Beach, California. Not that jewelers aren't kind around here, they just have to make exorbitant rents.

 

I did look at a few sites before I bought it, but you all are more honest.

I am sitting here with drooling hanging from my lips. That is one absolutely gorgeous bowl. Saw several of them in a formal sitting room. It was owned by a well known Chinese diplomate. He saw me looking at them with lust in my heart. I really love spinach jade especially bowls!!!!!!
