Featured Gien Faience Mark

    I just bought this. I don't have it yet so these are seller's photos. The mark was introduced in 1875 but I found a reference online which says that it was still being used after 1936.

    Does anybody have any thoughts on the date? It is transfer printed in the Delft Bleu style.

    I found a free app The Field Guide To Gien Porcelain Marks but it is only available on android and I've only got Apple.

    Yes. You are right, that is the better likeness; but still not the same as the letter rack. I think it has been drawn rather a photograph of the mark.

    It's been refunded. Such a shame. The seller insists that it was well packed but I'm afraid that it wasn't.
