I have just resigned myself to buying off eBay. I don’t know all the secrets; there are some sellers that have these huge lots with great, high end stuff very regularly and I always wonder. I even asked one but she didn’t divulge anything. Just look at the lot closely; you can find some really good stuff even for $20, especially sellers that have no clue what they have.

The problem is getting to be price though, due to the huge amount of new resellers in the jewelry area, since the covid the numbers have tripled since I started. One seller has nice 13-15 lb lots I used to get fir $80- $120, are now selling for $300-$400, same lots she's always sold, I couldn't believe my eyes. I did ask her once but she was not willing to give up much either, but she sells 4-5 13-15lb lots per week. I want to be on her level. Her user is tciowa. She puts the lots together in layers by color, they look pretty awesome. But a seller at my level can't afford those prices.

I really like how she does her photos with the layering technique. I may have to try that when I get around to selling that large box of assorted repair stuff.
