Featured Bracelet (?), metal detector find

A friend of me found a relative heavy object with his metal detector in the Netherlands. For me it seems some kind of bracelet, made from an unknow metal alloy. Does anyone of you experts have any idea about this object?

Given the verdigris, it has some copper content.
This could be the wrong period entirely, but this remaining piece of a bangle, below, also has panels.
Found in the UK, suggested date: Middle Bronze Age,1600-800BC (pre-Brexit, so more contact with the Continent ).

In my opinion it too good to be true that it is that old. I was thinking about African bracelet money perhaps?

 

I know diddly about the really old stuff, but "unknown alloy" to me usually means modern costume. A piece with the gold or silver-tone eaten off and that sat in the ground for 40 years could look like this. I'd have it checked just in case.

 

If it were in the UK, I'd be asking the PAS.

West African manillas or currency bracelets are chunky, and they are usually cuff bracelets, so with an opening.

Panels, like this bangle (closed bracelet) has, are seen on some silver Berber bracelets from the south of Morocco. I have never seen these particular panels on Berber bangles though.
