Nothing nefarious, just routine for a residents card. What was interesting, was that my left index finger was completely devoid of a print, smooth and easy for me to figure out how. It is jewellery related. After years of acid testing gold and silver, I realised I had acid etched the print away. Using my right hand to hold the acid bottle and my left to hold the object. Through sheer carelessness over the years, I had got acid on the main finger holding the object.

So now you can commit the perfect crime using only your left index finger?;)

I always use a testing stone. I guess the stone has no fingerprints now.:wacky:

    My cousin was a hairdresser.
He didn't like to wear gloves to roll perms.
He had no fingerprints because the perm solution ate them away.

You should see what is left of the fingers of those who grind semi-precious stones in Agra, India. Years of constant work has left most of them with completely flat finger tips almost down to the bone! All in the good name of Art!

they never done that to me. but then, I'm Swiss and they need us...:hilarious: besides that there's a law from the 1950s that French can live in Switzerland as long as they have enough money without needing the social system - and vice versa. which is the only way for the French to prove they're millionaires:meh:

    This is interesting.
I had my fingerprints taken when I owned race horses in NJ and NY.
No fingerprints, no ability to own a racehorse.

I know, and mainly to satisfy Western greed and foreign tourists :( however some of them have been doing it for family generations and can be traced back to when the Taj Mahal was built. They also consider themselves fortunate to have a working trade.

A well executed theft (without any fingerprints) is a stainless steal.

i have a weird skin condition which causes my skin on fingers and the soles of my feet to blister and fall off from time to time, the weird bit is my prints grow back differently. as time goes on my prints actually change.
