Featured Silver bracelet, gold applique

Hi all. Came across a lovely silver bracelet marked only TANPARD, can't find any reference for this online. The rose and yellow gold has been applied rather than just played/rolled.

Can you help with age and origin?

 

Can you tell how the flowers and leaves were applied? Possibly Victorian and mass produced base sold in many countries and then customized.The triangles and lines on the border are sloppy,most likely engraved by a local jewelry store.

Could it possibly be worn and maybe said Standard? (Not that, that makes much sense either)
Maybe Standard size.

 

Standard may be the brand name. Has the metal been tested?

 

Isn't coin silver occassionally marked "standard?"

 

Aesthetic period. Probably 'standard', which could refer to the silver fineness. US made?

If you scroll down (on page 77) to the paragraph that starts “Like gold...” the book says:

The American standard for silver was 900 parts per thousand until 1906. Pieces marked “standard” or “coin” are 900 silver of American origin.

 

Early to mid 19th century American coin silver was occasionally marked 'Standard', 'Dollar', or 'Premium' as an indicator of fineness...

Good to know, Cheryl. I guess the modifier "occasionally" is at play in my lack of exposure.

 

That's a lot of information to go on. @SBSVC that is a really useful link. And @kyratango I will watch that listing like a hawk. It's nicer than mine but very similar in design.
