As to value, if more than 12 people participated in the auction, what you paid is probably a good indication of value. If auction included online bidding, the total price should be more accurate than a local-only live auction.

First one I’d call a smoking stand, has places for cigars, cigarettes, an ash tray, etc.

    Hi, Paige, and welcome!

Would it be possible for you to post more - and LARGER - photos of the items you're asking about?

Perhaps a separate post for a single item or two, with different views of each? The pictures look to be clear, decent shots of your items, but they're just so small that I can't quite tell what things are.

Larger photos of front and back, markings, and things like that will make it easier for folks here to help.

    Thanks!

Yes I agree. Have you tried lifting the button, or has the item not yet arrived to facilitate such exploration?

Hi when you press the button, the two pieces of wood approx half way down, the top piece moves and it opens and closes. But why?

To dispense tobacco products from inside to the button pusher I guess, but I can’t see it in action. Does it look like it might deliver something when button is pushed? Or let u reach inside to get a cancer stick?

One little-known fact about this type of smoking stand: They come without instructions. The wooden troughs on the ceramic ash tray are really for pipes but some buyers have assumed they were cigar or cigarette rests. When they leave lit tobacco products in them, sometimes they catch fire and have reportedly burned down a number of structures, some with loss of life, which is why these are rare today.

Liar, liar, pants on fire! You made that all up didn’t you! Oughtta be ashamed!
